Hi all, I fought a little bit to figure out how to effectively attenuate noise due to eye blinks, jaw clenching and wire movement. I have settled on a good solution that serves my needs, and could be a good template.
I am using the Muse, but this should be a good way to do the same on other devices. See attached a basic design showing unfiltered raw input vs filtered input using thresholds. The "magic" was setting the FALSE output to zero, instead of the default INV which was causing a lot of ringing. I set my limits to +/- 50 microvolts, you may want to change yours.
Also attached is an eyes open / eyes closed edf. The first half of the edf has plenty of eyeblinks (on purpose, for testing).
